About Eleven Media
We’re Eleven Media, a digital agency dedicated to making the Internet a prettier, more user friendly place!
Eleven Media cuts through the noise and creates websites, email marketing and social media campaigns that get results.
Founded in November of 2008 by graphic designer Blaz Robar and web developer Aaron Rutley (that’s us!). It was only a few months earlier that we were working separately as freelancers, but after collaborating on a number of projects together we saw the amazing potential in joining forces. It was this humble beginning at a small Clyde Road office, that would set the foundation for our business, which today, has serviced over 300 clients!
See, we build our sites using WordPress, a really popular Content Management System (CMS), which gives our clients the ability to easily update website or blog whenever they like!
Together with a bunch of specialty freelancers, we are evolving, offering new services to our clients as the Internet landscape shifts to new and exciting trends. From Facebook pages, to email marketing; Eleven Media has become a lot more than just a ‘web design studio’.
Our studio is based in Berwick, South East of Melbourne, Australia.
Meet Blaz
Web Designer & Graphics Guy
Blaz makes everything look great. As the Eleven Media designer, it’s what he does best. He graduated with honours in a Bachelor of Communication Design in 2008 at Swinburne University of Design. He is constantly honing his craft by sinking his teeth into a variety of different projects, from corporate websites to personal blogs. When Blaz isn’t working on client’s websites, he is giving away free resources to the online design community.
Blaz has an amazing ability at working with clients and producing beautiful results.
Meet Aaron
Web Developer & WordPress Guy
Aaron has been living and breathing website development since 1999. He completed a Certificate IV in Multimedia while in high school & followed it up with a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia – Applications from Monash University. As well as having over a decade of experience in web development, Aaron has spent the majority of his time as a freelancer, which has given him a wealth of knowledge in project management and customer relations.
Aaron has a strong social media presence, and is constantly sharing knowledge and resources with the web development community. Every year, he attends the biggest industry conferences around Australia, most recently WordCamp Melbourne 2011 and Semi Permanent (a design conference) in Brisbane.

Josh – Online Communication
Josh is our go-to guy for all things related to video production and online communications. He has worked with a range of small, medium and large organisations in creating effective corporate videos.
Recently, he has begun focusing on online communication, including consulting brands on social media strategy. He is the creator of Melbourne Geek – a blog and video show dedicated to the geeks of Melbourne, Australia.
Ryan – Designer
Ryan has a passion for all things design. He has completed a Certificate IV in Multimedia and a Bachelor of Multimedia, Majoring in Applications from Monash University.
Since graduating from University, he has focused on Graphic Design, honing his design skills in a range of fields. With 5 years of industry experience, Ryan has extensive knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Mat - Programmer
Mat has been working in Multimedia and Web Development since 2002 in Melbourne and completed a bachelors degree in Multimedia Systems Design from RMIT Melbourne in 2004.
He specialises in and enjoys PHP development, as well front-end HTML/CSS and jQuery. Mat helps us with creating custom WordPress Plugins to make your websites awesome.
